Christine Grasso

Christine is an expert in holistic health and nutrition, food sensitivities, and digestive health. She received her health coach training at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City in 2009 and is Board Certified as a Holistic Health Practitioner by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). She also holds a certificate in health counseling from the State University of New York (SUNY) Purchase. She leads workshops on holistic health and nutrition and offers individual and group health coaching.

Professional Expertise

Christine specializes in supporting women struggling with weight loss to identify their hidden food sensitivities, heal their digestion, and lose those stubborn pounds. She has been supporting women to eat right for their body type, reduce stress, and have more energy since 2009. She has been there and knows what it's like to feel overwhelmed by trying to get yourself healthy. That is why she loves sharing what she has learned through her writing to help others feel empowered to heal themselves.

Personal Journey

After struggling with acid reflux, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), skin problems and allergies, Christine empowered herself by changing the way she eats. She learned about the healing power of foods by working with a health coach.

After discovering she had some food sensitivities, focusing on her yoga practice, and intensifying her meditation practice, she healed herself of acid reflux and IBS. Her training to become a health coach also helped her eliminate her skin problems and seasonal allergies. Plus, after years of Weight Watchers and dieting in her teens and twenties, she 'organically' lost over 25 pounds in the process of healing herself, going from a size 12 to a size 2!

Christine enjoys cooking healthy, organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, and egg-free meals for herself and her growing family. She loves to create and try new recipes and is passionate about helping others make easy, healthy, and delicious meals for themselves and their families.

Yoga

Christine has been teaching yoga since 2006. She completed the 200-hour Yoga Impact Teacher Training program and is certified by Yoga Alliance. Her yoga teaching is influenced by the Iyengar, Ashtanga, Anusara, Yin, and Kripalu traditions. She is passionate about her own personal yoga practice, which has brought her peace of mind and a strong, balanced body.
