She attends many conferences and workshops in the craft and has started her own writing critique group.

Parenting Experience

As a parent of two boys, Kimberly knows the ups-and-downs parenthood can dish out. Along with the everyday challenges of raising a child, her oldest son has autism, and she is aware of the questions and how overwhelming these challenges can be, especially if you’re a working parent. Kimberly has written several parenting advice articles on Examiner.com covering these topics as well as child-rearing advice and tips.

Education, Teaching, and Paraprofessional

Kimberly discovered recently that she loves to teach by volunteering as a children’s leader at her church’s kids' ministry. With this new passion, she decided to become a substitute teacher and paraprofessional substitute at her local school district. This new adventure has led Kimberly to more tools to help her autistic son and more knowledge in the educational field, common core, and new teaching techniques as well as provide her some great resources for her children’s books.
