Cake Decorator

Deidre has been decorating cakes and making desserts since she was 12, learning the art alongside her mother. She took those skills and ran, eventually taking jobs with several bakeries and then attending culinary school for a diploma in Baking and Pastry. She’s worked in fine dining restaurants and small, family-owned bakeries in addition to making custom cakes for friends and family. She has a mastery of basic and intermediate cake craft and is always looking to learn and teach new skills to others.

Costume Expertise

Deidre is an award-winning costumer who has been sewing for most of her life and creating cosplay and accessories for 16 years. From armor to boot covers, wigs to special effects makeup, basic sewing to advanced tailoring, Deidre has tried just about everything in the pursuit of this hobby. With a bevy of experience and a network of great resources at her fingertips, she has great ideas about everything from kids' costuming on a budget to going all-out for Halloween.
