eFax
This is consistently one of the top rated and highly reviewed
e-mail faxing sites out there. They do offer a
monthly service where you can receive about 20 pages per month.
This is good news for consumers who don't get many faxes.
However, if you need to send faxes via e-mail, you'll need to pay a
slight fee for their service. It is very easy to fax by sending
documents to the eFax e-mail, or you can also go to their website
and send and receive faxes via their special interface software. Be
VERY careful to sign up for the free service and not eFax Plus. |

GotFreeFax.com
This site allows you to send free faxes online to fax numbers in
the United States and Canada. Unlike some of the other free fax
services, you can send an ad free cover page with your fax. There
are a few rules that you'll have to abide by when using this free
fax service. The fax has to be three pages or less and you can only
send two per day. Still, for businesses and individuals looking for
occasional fax service without having to spend a fortune for a
dedicated line, this is an excellent option. If you find you need
bigger services, such as
fax broadcasting, this site offers those as well. |

Email2Fax.com
If you only have one fax to send or receive, this site can come in
handy. The faxing is free from ads, lending a more professional look
to any faxes you might be sending out. Up to five pages at a time
can be sent out and a cover page (also ad free) can be added. The
site does require that you send out no more than two faxes per day
and that you can only send with the 48 Continental United States. If
you need to send out more than two faxes a day or more pages at
once, they also offer
Faxage, which is an inexpensive fax service. As with any of
these services, read the fine print and be aware of all the little
fees involved, which can really add up. |

This Internet Multicasting Services is run by volunteers all over
the world, who translate e-mails and web posts into faxes and send
them out for free. The easiest way to use this service is to

can also send a fax with your e-mail. Simply use the address
"remote-printer.First_Last@13135551234.iddd.tpc.int"
and replace the numbers with the fax number you are
e-mailing. Be sure to include the country code and area code and put
no spaces or dashes between numbers. You should get a confirmation. |

FaxZero
Send a fax for free to fax machines in Canada and the United
States. Be aware that the free service is supported by advertising,
so any cover pages you send will have an ad on them. Be sure to read
through the
Fax FAQs before starting, so any questions will be answered. For
example, the system will try to deliver a given fax five times
before aborting. However, the system will send you an e-mail to let
you know that the fax was not able to be sent. |

K7
This is an interesting service that takes a look at what you can
do when you aren't in your office by your fax machine. This service
will take faxes and send them to you via e-mail. It is a little
different than most of the other services out there, but absolutely
perfect for the traveling businessperson who is able to hook into
the Internet with a cellular device. The most amazing part of the
service is that
K7 is free. In addition to the faxes sent to your e-mail, you
can also receive your voicemail messages. |

My Fax
You can use this service free for 30 days, which is enough time to
see if this is something you'd be interested in using permanently.

single project, for example, and then you can always cancel your
account. If you prefer to keep using My Fax after the trial period,
the rate will be about $10.00 a month, but you'll get
100 pages to send each month for free and 200 that can be
