Gone With the
Wind
Steamy doesn't even begin to describe this 1939 movie starring Vivien Leigh
and Clark Gable. Although the movie has many notable kisses, the one that
has been memorialized in
posters is the one on the road to Atlanta. Scarlett is headed home,
Rhett is headed to war as a soldier. He asks her for a kiss and she gives
him one that he's certain to remember during the long war. The sky is orange
with fire, the mood is tense and this kiss consistently ranks in the top 10
of movie kisses. Yowza! |

Titanic
The movie that captured America's heart has a pretty amazing kissing scene
too. James Cameron not only researched the real Titanic's wreckage, but
created this amazing movie, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and the beautiful
Kate Winslet. Rose (Winslet) goes to Jack (DiCaprio) on the
bow of the ship. He lifts her onto the railing, opening her world as the
sun sets brilliantly in the background. Then, she turns her head and they
kiss with such amazing tenderness that it brings tears to your eyes. |

Pride and Prejudice
Anyone who loves Jane Austen will be impressed with the likeness of this
movie adaptation to the original book. Keira Knightly makes a lovely and
likeable Elizabeth. Although the kiss between Mr. Darcy and Lizzie doesn't
come until the very last shot of the movie, it is the build up to the kiss,
the suspense of it, that makes it that much more passionate and memorable.

Singin' in the Rain
It doesn't get better than this movie kiss. Singing, dancing and the acting
of Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor and Debbie Reynolds. In
Singin' in the Rain, Don (played by Gene Kelly) kisses starlet wannabe
Kathy (Debbie Reynolds) in her doorway. It is raining and the kiss is sweet
and obviously has a big impact on Don. In fact, his reaction to the kiss is
better than the kiss itself. Forget that it's pouring rain! He starts
