50 First Dates
One of the funniest romantic comedies to hit the screen in recent years,
Drew Barrymore plays a beautiful young woman with short term memory loss.
Adam Sandler is a playa who falls for her hard, but she can't remember that
she has ever met him. You'll laugh with them as they go on their
50 first
dates and enjoy many first kisses. A cast of secondary characters add
additional humor throughout the movie, including animals such as a walrus
and a penguin. You'll love the heart behind this story of true love that
stops at nothing. |

Casablanca
1942 classic, starring Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman. Find out
how much
Humphrey Bogart got paid to star in this film (hint, it's less than many
regular people make in a year now). You'll love this traditional romance if
you enjoy a good mystery and a bit of drama. Don't expect the typical happy
ending for this bittersweet film. The movie won three academy awards and is
on nearly every top romance list you'll find. Looking for
Bogie
memorabilia? You'll find everything from movie posters to CDs. You'll
also find many different Casablanca collectibles. |

Dirty Dancing
If you don't have anything better to do than carry a watermelon, you might
enjoy watching this movie about a young girl discovering love and herself.
In fact, you'll likely have the time of your life watching Patrick Swayze
show off his dance moves and Jennifer Grey get her groove on. Set in 1963,
the movie is filled with tons of terrific
music. The focus of this movie is on the budding relationship between
"Baby" (Grey) and Johnny Castle (Swayze). Mixed in are hot topics like
purity, looking at more than a checkbook and honesty. |

Ghost
Another heart wrenching movie that doesn't exactly end happily, this one is
nevertheless worth watching. A romantic thriller where two lovers are
separated by the murder of the husband. However, Sam (played by
Patrick Swayze)
can't move on yet and can't quite figure out why until he realizes that his
wife, Sam (Demi Moore) is in mortal danger. He then embarks on a crazy
scheme that pulls a medium (Whoopi Goldberg) into the movie as he tries to
convince his wife that he is communicating with her beyond the grave. Many
tender moments in this movie. |

Gone With the Wind
The beautiful Vivien Leigh plays the spoiled Scarlett O'Hara. Based on a
novel by Margaret Mitchell, this movie is set during the Civil War. It was
released in 1941 and at the time the controversial parting shot, uttered by
Rhett Butler (Clark Gable), caused many critics to caution against seeing
the film. Again, this isn't a movie that has a typical happy ending, but it
does end on a positive note, with Scarlett insisting that tomorrow is
another day. You'll find tons
GWTW collectibles,
such as figurines, games, jewelry, Christmas ornaments and dolls. |
