Friday the 13th
It all started in May of 1980 when the original
Friday the 13th was released. The film is credited for starting the
horror films of the 80s and changing the horror genre. Jason drowned at camp
as a young boy and now he wants revenge. There seem to be certain formulaic
rules about who will be slashed - any young couple making out and any girl
who goes into the basement alone. The movie and its sequels were so wildly
popular that
Friday the 13th X (movie number 10) was recently released. |
