Melissa Mayntz

Melissa Mayntz has been a freelance writer and editor since 2003. Her work has been published on numerous websites as well as in local and regional newspapers and magazines, and she joined the LoveToKnow team in 2005. She has contributed to a number of topics on LoveToKnow, and her widely varied interests include theme parks, cruises, recipes, green living, birding, frugality, and travel.

Melissa holds a bachelor's degree in history education from the University of North Florida and has several years teaching experience prior to launching her writing career. She currently lives in Utah but has also lived in Florida, Michigan and Ohio, exploring new interests, cultures and lifestyles with every move.
