When not writing, Susan can be found capturing creative shots with her camera. She participates regularly in photography competitions and has enjoyed having many of her photographs published.

Sustainable Living

Always on the lookout for "green" living tools, Susan incorporates many sustainable living practices into everyday life and raising her children. Making environmentally conscious decisions helps Susan and her family live healthier lives on less.

As a Certified Biblical Health Coach and a Certified Metabolic Typing Advisor, Susan has worked cooperatively with Chiropractors and community health advocates to provide educational resources and wellness programs. In addition, Susan speaks regularly at conferences on a variety of health and wellness topics including whole foods, herbs, nutritional therapy, detoxification, exercise and stress reduction techniques. Creative Writing

As a published poet, Susan is now working on a collaborative poetry project with her eldest daughter who is illustrating the work. The book is a collection of stories and poems that relive her fondest memories as a child.

In her spare time, Susan loves to do handwork and crafting including crochet, knitting, mixed media, card making, felting and more.

With five dogs, five horses and five cats, Susan knows the ins and outs of domestic and farm animal management.
