Virgin Classic Daiquiri Mocktail

This kiddie cocktail may call for white grape juice, but you can use white cranberry juice instead if you want a tarter mocktail to sip.

You can blend up a virgin strawberry daiquiri, but you can also shimmy and shake yourself to those flavors. If you're not into the pieces of fresh strawberry in your final drink, go ahead and double-strain to remove them. It'll still be plenty juicy.

Strawberry Virgin Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 1 strawberry, hulled and sliced
  • 1½ ounces nonalcoholic white rum OR white cranberry juice
  • ¾ ounce freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • ¾ ounce strawberry simple syrup
  • Ice
  • Strawberry for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chill a coupe glass.

Helpful Hack

Virgin daiquiris are super easy mocktails to customize. Start with ¾ ounce each of lime juice and a flavored syrup (any flavor you want), then add 2 ounces of either nonalcoholic white rum or white grape juice. Shake with ice and garnish, and you've got your own customized daiquiri mocktail. If you want to pump up the fruit flavors, muddle an ounce or two of any fruit you like with the syrup in the cocktail shaker before you add the remaining ingredients.

Frozen Virgin Daiquiri Mocktail

A little blender magic is all it takes to bring this mocktail to life. No blender? Don't lose any sleep. You can also use an immersion blender, as well. There's more than one way to shake a daiquiri, friends. If you want to give it that flavor of rum, don't be shy. Add two ounces of nonalcoholic white rum.

Frozen daiquiri

Ingredients

  • Lime wedge and sugar for rim
  • 3 ounces white grape juice
  • 2 ounces freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • 1 ounce simple syrup
  • 1½ cups crushed ice
  • Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions

  1. To prepare rim, rub the rim of the glass with the lime wedge.
  2. With the sugar on a saucer, dip either half or the entire rim of the glass in the sugar to coat.
  3. In a blender, add crushed ice, white grape juice, lime juice, and simple syrup.

Refreshing Frozen Banana Daiquiri

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 2 ounces white grape juice
  • 1½ ounces freshly-squeezed lime juice
  • ½ ounce simple syrup
  • 1½ cups crushed ice
  • Cherry for garnish, optional
