On my very first trip to the island of Kauai, we were handed a mai tai the second we walked into the hotel lobby. It tasted exactly like I expected Hawaii to taste, and I was hooked. I love an alcohol-free version of the mai tai because it's hydrating and tropical, but I can keep a clear head to truly enjoy all the sunshine.
