Rachel hails from Birmingham, Alabama, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Alabama and Juris Doctorate from Texas Southern University – Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Rachel currently resides in Texas, and practices law primarily in the area of labor and employment litigation. Before beginning her current legal practice, Rachel litigated cases involving railroad transportation and general civil litigation. Having practiced in several areas of the law and being licensed in both Texas and Alabama, Rachel has a vast knowledge of the legal process and the justice system.
Over the course of her career, Rachel has practiced and written on topics including labor strikes, the impact of elections on the workforce, best practices for workplace investigations, and law school success in both print and online mediums. Rachel is especially interested in constitutional protections and the ways in which fundamental rights are interpreted by our court system.
In her spare time, Rachel enjoys reading, photography, sewing, Alabama football, and happy hour with friends.
