19 Simple Ways to Raise Your Vibration for Manifestation

When you use the Law of Attraction to manifest, it helps if you raise your vibe. Use these tips and tricks to help.

I love the practice of manifestation. It is something I've used successfully in my life for decades. To manifest the things you want in the most efficient way possible, it's necessary to raise your vibration so you become a magnet for those things you desire. Wondering how to raise your vibration for manifestation? We have 21 things you can try, all of which have worked for me at various points in my life. 

Try This Grounding Meditation

Grounding helps center you in your body and creates a calm and relaxed state that's necessary for a higher vibe. I like using this grounding visualization, which comes from energy healer and spiritual teacher Jeffrey Allen.  

  1. Sit comfortably either in a chair with your feet flat on the floor or on the ground in a comfortable position.
  2. Close your eyes and breathe deeply in through your nose and out through your mouth. Do this until you feel peaceful and relaxed.
  3. Now visualize a ball of light forming in your pelvis. See the light become a beam that extends downward through where you are in contact with the ground and reaching far into the center of the Earth.
  4. Visualize the light beam widening so it is slightly wider than you. 
  5. See yourself stepping into this beam of light and riding it, like an elevator, all the way down to the center of the Earth. Allow the Earth energy to fill you entirely.
  6. When you're ready, ride back up in the beam again and into your body.
  7. Take a few additional deep breaths before you open your eyes. 

Try This Visualization

Visualization is an extremely powerful tool for manifestation and for raising vibration. This is a visualization exercise I've used for years.

  1. Sit or lie comfortably somewhere you won't be disturbed and close your eyes.
  2. Start by taking some slow, deep breaths into your stomach — in through your nose, and out through your mouth. 
  3. When you feel peaceful and relaxed, visualize a light that appears above your body. It can take any shape, such as a sphere or a beam.
  4. Now, see the light move through your body, moving from head to toes. As it moves, imagine it's pulling out all negativity, pain, and other difficult emotions or feelings.
  5. Send that light out into the universe to release all the things it collected from you.
  6. Take a few more deep belly breaths.
  7. Now, visualize a new light. It may look the same as or different from the first one. This light contains high-vibrational healing energy.
  8. Allow the light to move through you, moving from head to toes and filling you with high vibrational healing energy.
  9. When the light is done, express your gratitude.
  10. Take a few more deep breaths, and open your eyes when you're ready.

Try These Affirmations

Affirmations are a great way to raise your vibration. I like to practice mine first thing in the morning and in the evening before bed. Some affirmations to raise your vibration and manifest include:

  • I give thanks that I have all I need to walk the path of greatest good.
  • I am grateful that my energy is clear and my vibration is high.
  • I am thankful that my high vibration magnetizes me so that all my desires flow to me.
  • The blessings of the universe flow to me. 
  • Every day, I receive all that I need to walk my path, and for that I am grateful. 
  • I release all energy that no longer serves me.

Practice Heart Coherence

From the HeartMath Institute, Heart Coherence is a quick but profound meditation that can raise not only your vibe, but the vibe of the world. I've done this meditation individually and led it in a room with hundreds of people, and it's always powerful and peaceful. Before I start my day, I sit on the edge of my bed and practice this quick coherence technique daily.

A neurolinguistic programming technique (NLP) called anchoring can help you sustain and recall this feeling throughout the day. Once you've completed heart space activation and you're still in the heart space feeling all warm and loving, create a gesture you wouldn't normally make. For instance, I touch the tip of my left-hand middle finger to the tip of my left-hand thumb. Hold that gesture for a slow count of 20 and then release it. Now, throughout the day, you can use this gesture (just quickly touching the tip of your middle finger to the tip of your thumb, for instance) to bring back the heart space feeling.

Reframe Negativity

Thoughts all have a vibration. Positive thoughts that bring pleasing emotions have a high vibration. Negative thoughts that bring unpleasant emotions have a low vibration. So, every time you have a negative thought, it lowers your vibe. But you can use the anchoring technique above to interrupt those negative thoughts and replace them with a high-vibe thought or feeling.

Pay attention to all the thoughts that flit through your head. Whenever you notice one that feels bad, briefly repeat the anchor you created in the heart space meditation and release it right away, and it should shift that negativity. If you haven't done the heart space meditation and anchoring technique, you can also simply replace any negative thought with a positive one. For instance, if you receive a bill and think, "There's no way I can afford this," replace it with an affirmative statement instead, such as, "The universe provides me with all I need to thrive."

Spend Time in Nature

Being out in nature is so healing for your body, mind, and spirit. So go for a hike, visit a local green space, head for a park, or sit with your back against a tree to raise your vibe. While you're outdoors, breathe deeply and try to be present and mindful. I love to sit outside in the morning and just listen to all the birds. It's always a wonderful reset, and I feel amazing when I do it.

Work With These Crystals

Crystals are high-vibration tools that can help you raise your vibe, too. Purple and white or clear crystals especially draw your energy upward and help raise your vibe. You can wear them, carry them with you, put them on your desk, or hold them as you meditate to raise your vibe quickly. I love amethyst and clear quartz because they're super high vibration, plentiful, and affordable. 

Change the Media You Consume

So much media we consume these days seems to be designed to bring us down. So, if we're consuming media that contains violence, anger, hatred, and other low-vibrational things, we can't help but have it affect our vibe, too. This includes all types of media, from books and magazines to movies and television to social media.

Media can be excessively negative, and that can lower your vibe. So, for instance, if you're falling asleep every night listening to a true crime podcast, consider changing it to something more uplifting, such as a guided meditation or some peaceful music.

Quick Tip

The more negative media you can swap out for positive (including taking a social media break or unfollowing negative accounts and loading your feed up with life-affirming accounts... my Instagram feed is pretty much all adorable animals and nature photography), the better off you'll be and the higher your vibe will be. 

Try This Deep Breathing Exercise

Stress isn't good for you. It can not only lead to physical and mental health issues, but it can impact your sleep and lower your vibe. Starting your day deep breathing and pausing every few hours to do it again can make a huge difference and calm down your stress response. Use this deep breathing technique, called box breathing, for a few minutes any time you need to calm down.

  1. Sit comfortably and, if you can, close your eyes. 
  2. Take a deep breath in through your nose, pulling all the air into your stomach, for a slow count of four.
  3. Hold for a count of four.
  4. Exhale through your mouth for a slow count of four.
  5. Hold for a full count of four.
  6. Repeat.

Do a few cycles of box breathing to calm stress and raise your vibe. 

Cultivate Gratitude

Having an attitude of gratitude helps manifestation in two ways: It raises your vibration, and it draws the things you wish to manifest toward you. Every night before you go to sleep, saying, "I'm grateful for..." and then listing off the things you're grateful for can help you drift off with gratitude in your heart. It doesn't need to be all big things. If your legs supported you when you stood up today, that's something to be grateful for.

When I want to manifest something in my life, I start by stating my gratitude to the universe as if I have already received it. This is a powerful way to bring something to you. 

Try This Cleansing Ritual

Personal and energetic cleansing rituals can help clear away the yucky energy that comes during day-to-day life and make space for higher-vibe energy. Try this personal cleansing ritual if you're feeling stressed, bogged down, or just generally icky.

  1. Fill your bathtub with warm water and a quarter cup of sea salt or Himalayan pink salt. 
  2. Add a few drops of rosemary or lavender essential oil.
  3. Soak in the tub, and as you do, visualize all of the negativity flowing from your body and into the water.
  4. When you're ready, remain in the tub and allow it to drain completely, seeing the negativity swirling down the drain.
  5. When the tub is drained, you can get out and dry off. 

Work With These Essential Oils

Many essential oils will raise your vibration. You can combine them with a carrier oil and massage it into your temples or diffuse it into a room. Essential oils that will raise your vibe include:

  • Lavender
  • Jasmine
  • Ylang ylang
  • Frankincense
  • Sandalwood

Practice Forgiveness

Holding onto anger, grudges, hurt, and other negative emtions can lower your vibe. So, forgiving others can give you an immediate boost. I know that forgiveness can be difficult, especially when someone has hurt you deeply, and it will take you time to forgive. In the meantime, you can use this visualization to help you along.

  1. Sit or lie comfortably with your eyes closed
  2. Picture the person you need to forgive.
  3. Notice the ties that hold you together as strands of energy stretching between you.
  4. Visualize a large pair of scissors cutting those energy strands, disconnecting you.
  5. Now, visualize each of you surrounded by white light as you affirm, "I release you and forgive you."

You may have to do this a lot in the beginning, but every time you do, it breaks those bonds of hurt holding you together and helps to raise your vibration a little more. 

Practice Mindfulness

Being present in the moment is like a living meditation, and it definitely raises your vibe when you do because it gets you out of your head and the vibration-lowering thoughts about the past or worries of the future. To be mindful, pay attention to your senses as you engage in a task, noticing how things look, smell, feel, taste, and sound. Try to maintain focus only on this sensory input.

Quick Tip

Mindfulness is something you can put into practice with just about any activity at any time. The more you do it, the higher your vibe will be. 

Snuggle a Pet

Snuggling with a pet you love is an instant vibration raiser because it evokes positive emotions. Do it as often as you can and really place your focus on that moment you're sharing with your pet. 

Engage in Joyful Movement

Yes... this is an invitation to get some exercise, but not in the old 80s "no pain no gain" way that we normally think about. Instead, find some type of movement that you really enjoy and spend time doing it several times a week. It could be nature walks, going for a bike ride, dancing, yoga, or other pleasurable movement activities that bring you joy. Moving your body is a great way to clear out negative energy, release stress, and raise your vibe. 

Eat Nutritious Foods

Food has vibration, too. Alive food, like fruits and veggies, creates higher vibrations in your body, while dead foods (highly processed junk food, sugar, chemicals) create lower vibes. This doesn't mean you need to eat any certain way (such as vegan or vegetarian). Instead, it's an invitation to nourish your body with foods that are alive with nutrition while limiting those that aren't.

Do Things You Enjoy

Doing fun things also raises your vibration. Laughter, for instance, is a great vibe raiser. So, in your free time, spend time with people you love doing things you love, and you'll raise your vibe significantly. 

Declutter

Clutter is always a vibe killer. Having a bunch of clutter in the spaces where you live and work keeps energy from flowing freely, which can lower your vibe. So spend some time clutter-busting to create a relaxing space that helps maintain a higher vibration.
