Bubblegum is a flavor that brings a smile to everyone and anyone's face. It's certainly a flavor that doesn't jump to mind when you think of cocktails and shots. But the two make for a beautiful and remarkable pairing. Why not unwrap a bubblegum vodka cocktail?

Bubblegum Vodka Martini

This eye-catching, neon pink martini catches the eye, understandably. But the bubblegum flavor that rolls over the tongue with each sip is why you'll make it again and again. If you want the bubblegum vodka to shine a little extra, skip the banana liqueur and use a quarter ounce of orange liqueur.

Making Bubblegum Infused Vodka

If you're having difficulty finding bubblegum vodka in stores, the next best thing is making some yourself at home! The process is simple and effortless, and in fact, the hardest part is waiting for the infusion to be ready!

bubblegum pieces

Ingredients

  • 20 pieces bubblegum sliced in halves, such as Double Bubble or Bazooka Joe bubblegum
  • 750 mL vodka
  • Two large, clean bottles or jars
  • Cheesecloth or other fine strainer
  • Funnel

Instructions

  1. In a large, clean jar or bottle, add prepared gum and vodka and seal tightly.
  2. Gently shake the jar to mix ingredients.
  3. Store in a cool, dry place for approximately two to three days, giving the mixture a firm but gentle swirl each day.
  4. After the final day, pour a small amount into a glass to sample. If it meets your expectations, funnel and strain ingredients into a second clean jar or bottle. If not, allow the mix to infuse a little longer, repeating the above steps until the flavor is ideal.

Store the bubblegum-infused vodka in a cool, dry place similar to where you infused it. The bubblegum vodka will keep for approximately one to two years before the flavor begins to fade. But do discard if the flavor beings to be affected or fade drastically.
